Heather launched Alwyn Capital in 2018 with a conviction that cutting-edge science and innovation are the most powerful drivers of a more sustainable and efficient future.

Heather brings a diverse background in biotech, venture capital, and brand strategy. Prior to founding Alwyn Capital, she worked as a researcher in the pharmaceutical industry, where she saw firsthand the inefficiencies and inaccuracies of animal testing in drug development. This experience cemented her commitment to funding next-generation biotech solutions that improve human outcomes while eliminating reliance on outdated methods.

In addition to her work at Alwyn, Heather has advised leading organizations driving innovation in science and sustainability, including the Center for Contemporary Sciences and the Material Innovation Initiative. Heather is also a mentor in the GFI Mentor Program. Earlier in her career, she spent a decade as a creative consultant in the fashion industry, helping emerging brands develop high-impact campaigns and establish market presence.

Heather holds a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Florida and a BA in Photography and Visual Communication from Parsons School of Design.
